and smartwatches but realme was a little bit slow in this race. But for those
people who all were waiting for the realme band, realme launched it’s budget-friendly
fit band(not smartwatch) on the 5th of march. As compared to bands
launched by other leading brands it has fewer features at a low price. To those
who don’t care much about features and care more about price, this is the best
one. The price of this smart band is 1499/-.

The realme band comes with Attractive Large Color Display,
USB Direct Charge, Real-time Heart Rate Monitor, Smart Notifications,
Intelligent Sports Tracker, Personalized Dial Face, Sleep Quality Monitor,
Realme Link Smart App. As far as price is concerned these features are more
than enough for a person to lead a healthy life.
Let’s quickly go through what all other features it has so
that we could talk more about how these features are working.
In terms of appearance, it comes with 3 colors (Black, Green and
Yellow). It has 19.6*11.9*240mm dimensions (Width*Height*Length) and weighs
20g. It comes with 16mm width removable wrist strap and can be adjusted from
152mm to 227mm in terms of length.
It has an awesome battery capacity 90mAh which can give you
10 days battery backup. They assure you that practical battery backup is around
7-10 days with heart rate monitor on. It has a 0.96” (2.4cm) screen size with
80*160 resolution quality. The complete screen is not touch screen, it has a Single
Virtual Button (means you have to use this button to change settings of the
band).
Realme band also has different sensors to monitor different
activities such as 3-axis accelerometer, Heart Rate Sensor, Rotor Vibration
Motor, IP68(1.5m) water resistance rating. For wireless connectivity it has
Bluetooth 4.2 and Android 5.0+. It has a realme link app through which one can
control band functions.
Let’s see about the Realme band’s health monitor feature. It has
automated heart rate measurement, 24-hour real-time heart rate, resting heart rate,
exercise heart rate, sleep detection, steps throughout the day. Calories,
distance, water reminder, sedentary reminder, etc..
It has special sport mode as well for cricket, yoga, running,
walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, spinning, and fitness.
Its other functions are Clock, date display, horizontal and
vertical screen, dial, cloud multi-language font, automatic motion recognition,
call notification, message reminder, alarm reminder, goal completion reminder,
binding confirmation reminder, low battery reminder, brightness adjustment,
automatic brightness reduction at night, approach unlock, weather forecast,
wear monitoring, data storage, all-day data.

My Opinions:
After using this band for 20days I can say that all the
features work up to the mark. Initially, It had problems related to brightness
when I was outside. Because of its low brightness, it was difficult to see the
time outdoors. But after their latest update, this problem has been solved.
Comfortable?
Because of its minimal design and weight, it is comfortable
to wear the whole day. Its straps are good but compared to other brands it's quality
not up to the mark. But don’t forget its price which is 1499/-. It also has a USB
direct charge which vanishes the burden of carrying extra charging cables. These
features also come handy when you don’t find any charging ports because if you
have your laptop with you then easily plug into its USB port and then continue
your work until it’s gets charged completely.
Appearance:
Since the realme band comes in 3 colors you can choose the one which
is perfect for you. Out of 3 one is realme’s iconic color yellow, the other one is
green and finally everyone’s favorite Black.
Battery:
This depends on individuals It gives around 6-8 days of
battery backup when you keep heart rate monitor on.
Heart Rate Sensor:
Compared to other bands this is around 80-90% accurate.
Worth Buying?
Yes, man! What do you expect more in this price range!!! (I
agree that other brands provide you more features for additional 500 rupees :)
Budget-friendly?
Sure it is budget-friendly. You are concerned about money
rather than features then go for it.
