So today I am going to talk about
fitness bands because these are the new rulers in the fitness field nowadays. If I
specifically talk about 1 smart and cheap fitness band it comes to Redmi.
Because it costs only 1000Rs. Although the cost is low it is a very interesting fitness band. However, this band is not launched in India yet,
but it will be launched soon.
If I start talking about the device from packing to the
specific details, It comes in a small box with a white and red color combination
with a mi brand logo on the top right corner of the box. The company has also
mentioned many interesting features on the box.
Now if we take a closer look at the contents present in the
box, it comes with the band and very long instruction manual which no one will
read, okay I am just joking here because in order to keep your device in
optimal condition please go through the user guide. In this guide one can
easily notice the QR code which comes handy when you download the fitness app
associated with the band.
If I try to explain the design of the bandit goes something
like this.
The band comes with a 1.08’’ flat color display with a decent
screen size. It has a good quality strap. One can easily tell it is a branded smart
band just by looking at the strap. The best part here is you can plug this to
any charging adapter directly just by pulling one of the straps from the capsule. You
can also replace the band with different colors.
Redmi Band
The app name is “Xiaomi wear”. However, it doesn’t have any
special controls for the band you can select a wide variety of themes (or watch
faces) for the band. This Redmi band also comes with a continuous heart rate
monitor. Along with this it also comes with features like ideal alert etc…
If I talk about its UI it is so simple and easy to navigate
to the required controls from the band itself. You don’t need to open the app for
every feature control. There is one small button at the bottom that will navigate
you to the home screen.
If I compare this with the realme band it comes with a very bright
and colorful display.
You can get notification information from the band. The main interesting part here is you can control the music from the band itself cool
right?! If we talk about its built quality it is better compared to other
brands in this price range.
The price maybe 1100Rs. This is not yet confirmed, however,
we will get to know about this as soon as this band launches in India.
Since, it is a fitness band lets come to this aspect of the
smart band: It has 5 different fitness modes. Like cycling, walking, Outdoor
running, Indoor running, and idle time. The Redmi band also comes with sleep
tracking features which essential these days. The company claims that the
band has 50m water resistance which helps you to swim without worrying about
the functionality of the smart band.
So, if we take a complete look over this smart band we can
say that in this price range it is an amazing band as compared to other brands
like realme and all other brands which are competing in this price range. Redmi
brand gives you a premium look when you wear it feels comfortable. The features
it comes with makes it more worthy in this price range to buy. It has also good
colorful watch faces.
Redmi Band
Well well well I haven’t talked about the battery life of
the Redmi band. This band comes with 14 days of continuous use as claimed by
the company. This is quite good because almost all fitness bands average
battery backup is about 14 days.
If we look at the cons the main headache comes with the band is
with its charging type. Because every time you charge you have to remove the
strap which might make the strap lose after using the band for a long time.
