I did a little bit of research on this topic and here are some of the tips that I want to share with you! These are some of the Quick tips to increase the battery life: Decrease the Brightness, Diable Always on screen, Disable some of the tracking features, Turn of Unwanted Notifications, and Change the watch face. Let's find out more ways to solve this problem.

Brightness:

If you wear a smartwatch then one of the main problems you face is with is its battery life. One of the major things that affect your smartwatch battery life is ‘BRIGHTNESS’. So, when I am indoors I try to keep the brightness at medium level. So, that it adds a couple of more hours to the battery life. You can also try this method.

Always On Screen:

This is one of the best features that a smartwatch got, because whenever I am not using the smartwatch the screen on but it is dim though. The companies claim that in this mode the screen refresh rate decreases somehow let’s say if the refresh rate is around 60Hz then it reduces to 1Hz. However, when I turn off this feature you can’t believe but my smartwatch battery life increased dramatically, it added around 12 hours of battery life. I suggest you that just try this method…

Disable Notifications:

One of the most important contributions to draining the battery is the notifications. Yes! That’s right! If you have enabled this feature for all the apps in the watch as I did, then don’t expect your smartwatch to give a better battery backup. So, I disabled some of the social network apps notifications and Tada! There I got some more hours of extra battery life as compared to the earlier situations. This one totally depends on you because you’re one who will be knowing what all apps to keep.

Change the watch face:

Yes! Change the watch face. Just don’t think twice change it. Because most of the watch faces which look cool with all those different color combinations drain much more battery than those with a minimalistic look. I personally use minimalistic watch faces in which I just get the information about the time and nothing else. This will also help me to overcome distractions from all those extra information showed by those fancy watch faces. So, this is your call whether to keep a cool watch face or a minimalistic one.

Enable Power Saver Mode:

This is one of the best ways to increase the battery life of the smartwatch. I personally prefer this when I am not using the smartwatch. This does the same thing as it does in smartphones. It disconnects from all the connections, it restricts background apps and in turn, it increases battery life. So, try to enable this mode whenever you are not using the smartwatch.

Disable Tracking Features:

Finally, I don’t recommend you do this but, I find it helpful because most of the time smartwatch collects almost all the data which we even ever cared of. So, disabling some of the unwanted features will increase the battery life of the smartwatch. I personally turn off the Motion sensor feature. Because if I don’t the sensor will be on all the time monitoring my motions and whenever I simply rotate my wrist it shows up the time which is not needed for me.

This MI the watch has lots of resemblance with Apple watch. Starting from the packing itself. It has the same resolution, size of the display, outer design including digital crown, microphone, and power button at the same position, the speaker also present in a similar place. In the physical aspect at some points, the MI watch is a bit bulkier as compared to apple watch.

The MI The watch comes with 1.78” AMOLED display with 368X448 pixels resolution and it is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. Here I will be talking about standard edition which comes with Aluminum body & silicon rubbery strap. Since the quality of the strap is good it fits perfectly.

Hello Friends! In this article, I am going to tell you about the brand new Apple Watch Series 5. It is the processor of the Apple Watch Series 4 which was quite successful in the smartwatch domain. However, Apple has launched a new series Apple Watch Series 5, let us explore this whole new tech which is on the verge of future tech.

The packing of this watch is simply amazing I always say that these Apple people just nailed it, the design of the box itself gives a premium look, and so, you can just imagine how luxurious the watch will be. The box contains a watch strap and the watch dial, user guide as usual, and finally magnetic charger and 5W power adapter. The smartwatch dial is packed in a protective pouch that gives a luxurious experience.

Design:

The watch comes in a case made up of stainless steel, with a gold finish. There also other material options like Titanium and Ceramic finish. It also consists of a Digital crown and has a built-in Microphone, speaker. If I compare this with Apple Watch Series 4 there is no much difference in the physical aspect.

The Apple Watch Series 5 had got one of the main features as compared to an older version is, that it consists of always-on display option also consists of Continuous, accurate heart rate sensors and one more important update is that the ECG option is available in INDIA. Since, the watch is a cellular version, taking calls in this the watch is easy.

As we saw in the Apple Watch Series 4, this also has a noise detection app which gives alerts when the noise in the surrounding the environment is too loud.

Always-on Display:

Let’s see what is this always-on display option that everyone is talking about, it is the A new display technology that keeps the display on all the time, it is dim but the display is on all the time at variable refresh rate which is called as LTPO, which stands for “Low-temperature polysilicon and oxide”, which means this involves a special controller and hardware which is available only in the Apple Watch Series 5 which means, there can’t be any update to earlier series 3 & 4 about this feature, which makes this kinda cool feature.

When you’re using the apple watch the OLED display refreshes at 60 frames per second i.e. 60Hz that’s why the animations are smooth, but when you aren’t using the watch the display dims and now the OLED display refreshing rate falls around 1 frame per second i.e. 1Hz so, we can say that although the screen is always on it consumes less power. So what is the biggest disadvantage of this Always-on the display? It reduces the battery life.

Battery:

If you disable the always-on display option the battery life is around 2 days but if you enable always-on display option it will definitely reduce the battery life.

App:

The app which helps in analyzing the data collected by the watch is having tons of options to customize the smartwatch. It also has lots of colorful watch faces, which enhance the look of the watch.

The Price of this Apple Watch Series 5, is 69,990/-.

Final thoughts:

So, this article is not a walkthrough of all the features available in the watch because this Apple Watch Series 5 is the same as that of Apple Watch Series 4 which done pretty much all the work for us. One big upgrade in series 5 compared to 4 is the Always-on display mode. If you’re okay with not using this feature then according to me you must go with Apple watch series 4 or 3 which will do almost all work the series 5 watch does. So, this will be a good deal.
